Premier League: promoted Crystal Palace to announce a profit of € 17.5 million for 2012-13

CPFC Limited, the company that owns the London-based club Crystal Palace (Premier League) and Selhurst Park Stadium (26,309 seats), has announced a profit of £ 14.5 million (approximately € 17.5 million) and a profit before tax of £ 1.6 million (approximately € 2 million) for the fiscal year 2013 (from the 01/07/2012 to the 30/06/2013), in their annual accounts, deposited at Company House, the British register of companies, on the 19/12/2013.

Crystal Palace played in Championship in 2012-13 and were promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season. They saw their turnover decrease by 3.3% compared to 2012 (£ 15m, € 18.1m). The club had then recorded a loss before tax of £ 2.1m (€ 2.5m).

"Total profit before tax for the year ending June 2013 was £ 1.6 million, but after including profits on player sales of £ 13.9 million (€ 16.8 million) and charging exceptional costs of promotion related payments of £4.6.
