Formula 1: Pirelli (tyres) extends as the exclusive "Global Tyre Partner" for four years (2020-2023)

Pirelli, an Italian tyre brand, has extended as Formula 1's exclusive "Global Tyre Partner" for a period of four years, or the 2020-2023 cycle, according to Formula One Group, on 25/11/2018. The deal was signed on the day of the last Grand Prix of the 2018 season, won by the 2018 World Champion, Lewis Hamilton (ENG), in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).

Pirelli, which has extended its agreement until 2019 in June 2016, has been a partner of the Formula 1 World Championship since 2011.

Pirelli became the title sponsor of the 2018 Formula 1 Grand Prix de France on 25/04/2018, which took place on the Paul-Ricard circuit in Le Castellet (Var, France) from 22 to 24/06/2018. The Italian brand is also the title sponsor of the 2018 US Grand Prix. Pirelli, title sponsor of the Spanish Grand Prix since 2014, has been replaced, as of 2018, by the Emirati airline Emirates (Formula 1 Gran Premio de España Emirates 2018).
