Sports Betting: MGM Resorts (hotels and casinos) official MLB gaming and entertainment partner

MGM Resorts, an American chain of hotels and casinos, has become the first official gaming and entertainment partner of Major League Baseball (MLB) as part of a "multiyear agreement," according to MLB, on 27/11/2018. MLB is the third major league in North America to sign with MGM Resorts after the NBA and NHL (see below).

"MGM Resorts will be identified as an MLB-Authorised Gaming Operator and utilise MLB's official statistics feed, on a non-exclusive basis, throughout its digital and live domestic sports gaming options. MLB will also make enhanced statistics available to MGM on an exclusive basis. In addition, MGM Resorts and MLB will work together on comprehensive responsible gaming measures and work to protect the integrity of the game both on and off the field," added the league. MGM Resorts will promote its brand nationally on MLB's various marketing platforms while MGM will be able to use the MLB brand in its advertising and promotional campaigns.
