Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) will subsidise a part of the ticket price for away fans travelling to watch the Champions League first-leg tie against Arsenal FC, said the Bavarian club on the 09/01/2014.

Bayern Munich have put € 90 000 to reduce the cost of 3,000 tickets available to their supporters, who will pay only 45 of the 75 euros charged by Arsenal to attend the game.

"Bayern have thrilled the world of European football not only by the outstanding performance and consistency of our team, but also by the fantastic and vocal support of our fans, with the 2012-13 Champions League final in London (2-1 win against Borussia Dortmund on the 25/05/2013) and the UEFA Super Cup final 2-2, 5 penalties to 4 against Chelsea FC, on the 26/08/2013) living long in the memory," stated the German club, on the 09/01/2014.

Arsenal - Bayern Munich will be played on the 18/02/2014, at the Emirates Stadium in London (UK). The second leg tie will be played at the Allianz Arena in Munich, on the 11/03/2014.
