The 20 clubs involved in the 2018-19 Premier League season have nearly 415 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/12/2018. This total makes the Premier League the second most popular European League on the three social networks, behind LaLiga Santander, with an average of 20.7 million fans per club.

Manchester United FC is the most popular English club with over 116 million fans. Two London clubs follow: Chelsea FC with nearly 74 million fans, and Arsenal FC with 64.4 million.

The number of followers of the 20 Premier League clubs on Instagram crossed the 80 million mark in November 2018. Manchester United FC, Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC and Manchester City FC comprise 88% of the total followers of Premier League clubs on this social network.
