Bundesliga: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 18 clubs (December 2018)

The 18 clubs involved in the 2018-19 Bundesliga season have more than 114 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/12/2018. The Bundesliga is the fourth most popular Top 5 European league on these three social networks, behind LaLiga Santander, the Premier League and Serie A TIM, with an average of over 6.3 million fans per club.

FC Bayern Munich are the most popular German club with 68.2 million fans, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund who count 24.6 million. FC Schalke 04 completes the Bundesliga podium with just over 4.1 million fans.

Borussia Dortmund is the fastest growing German club on Instagram in November 2018 (+300,300 followers), ahead of FC Bayern Munich (+200,700). Bundesliga leaders after 13 matchdays with 33 points, Dortmund has reached the 6 million followers mark on the same social network.
