Serie A TIM: "A great honor for me to have been chosen to lead AC Milan" (Ivan Gazidis, new CEO)

"It is a great honor for me to have been chosen to lead AC Milan (Serie A TIM) into a new era as it's chief executive, forza Milan ('Go Milan')," said Ivan Gazidis, the new CEO of the Milan club, who took office on 05/12/2018.

Ivan Gazidis, a South African-born British man, served as chief executive of Arsenal FC (Premier League) from January 2009 to September 2018. His arrival at AC Milan was announced by the Italian club on 18/09/2018.

"I'd like to assure the club's millions of fans all over the world, that i will work with my heart and soul to do the very best job that i can. To achieve what we all want for this great football club, the hard work must start now, and it will require teamwork, both on and off the pitch. I am extremely excited about the opportunities ahead and although the journey will be challenging, I am confident that together we can bring AC Milan back to where it belongs," added Ivan Gazidis in a video message addressed to the supporters of the Milanese club.
