FFF: 2017-18 financial report adopted by the Federal Assembly on 08/12/2018, revenue of €236.5m

"The 2017-18 epilogue was particularly remarkable as the French men's national team won its second World Cup, 20 years after its first coronation. This exceptional performance marks the end of a four-season financial cycle of the finest level. However, according to our accounting methods (end-of-year on 30/06/2018), and with the course of the French team completed on 15/07/2018 (World Cup final France - Croatia, 4-2, in Moscow, RUS), the result of this financial participation will be attached to the 2018-19 financial year," explained Lionel Boland, treasurer general of the FFF, in introducing of the 2017-18 financial report of the French Football Federation, presented during the Federal Assembly meeting in Paris (FRA) on 08/12/2018.

Revenue amounted to €236.5m in 2017-18 (against €235.7m in expenses), of which 74% (€174m) came from commercial products (partnerships, TV rights, ticketing). The net positive result amounted to €821,000 (compared to €812,000 in 2016-17). This financial report was adopted with 93.54% of the votes (6.46% against) by the Federal Assembly.
