FC Barcelona: 65,000 people in difficulty invited to the Camp Nou for the Leonesa Copa del Rey game

76,398 spectators attended the Camp Nou (99,354 capacity) for the second leg of the Copa del Rey Round of 32 match between Barcelona FC - Cultural Leonesa (Spanish D3), won 4-1 by Barça, on the same occasion as the eighth edition of the "Diada del Socio Solidario" (Member Solidarity Day) of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) was celebrated, on 05/12/2018.

Established in 2011, the "Member Solidarity Day" has traditionally been organised on the same day as  FC Barcelona's first Copa del Rey match of the season. On this occasion, Barça's socios are invited to leave their seats open to allow the club to offer them to people in difficulty. 

According to the club, a total of 65,000 Camp Nou places were made available "to more than 2,000 organisations and groups of social interest," which were then able to distribute the places to the beneficiaries.
