Basketball: the first NBA Store in Europe opens in Milan (ITA) with products from 30 franchises

The first NBA Store in Europe has opened in Milan (Italy), according to the National Basketball Association on its NBA Europe Instagram account on 04/12/2018. The store was inaugurated by former Croatian player Dino Radja.

The opening of the store, located in Passarella Gallery, near San Babila Square in Milan, was announced by the NBA with EPI Srl, an Italian online sports equipment retailer, on 10/09/2018. EPI Srl has a 12-year agreement to operate this NBA Store.

The 290m2 boutique, which covers two floors, offers items from the 30 franchises of the North American Professional League as well as a large vintage collection, according to the daily newspaper L'Équipe, on 06/12/2018.

• The NBA National Basketball Association, the North American professional basketball league  opened its flagship store in New York (New York, United States) in December 2015.
• The league recently opened a store in Doha (Qatar) in 2018, the league's first in the Middle East.
