Club World Cup: 15^th edition in the United Arab Emirates, from Wednesday 12 to Saturday 22/12/2018

"The 15^th FIFA Club World Cup kicks off on Wednesday 12/12/2018 in United Arab Emirates, where six continental champions (see list below) and host club Al Ain FC will vie for global glory," said FIFA, on 11/12/2018.

Three of the seven teams are competing for the first time:
• Al Ain FC, United Arab Emirates champions
• CD Guadalajara, winners of the CONCACAF Champions League
• Team Wellington FC, winners of the OFC Champions League

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), winner of the previous two editions, will join the competition in the semi-finals as the winner of the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday 19/12/2018 (kick-off at 20:30 local time, 17:30 CET), and will face the winner of the Kashima Antlers (Japan) - CD Guadalajara (Mexico) match, scheduled on Saturday 15/12/2018.

CA River Plate (ARG), winner of the CONMEBOL Libertadores, also enter the semi-finals of the competition and will play versus the winner of the Espérance Sportive De Tunis - Al Ain FC or Team Wellington FC match at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain…
