Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich opens its official store on the e-commerce website Amazon

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) has opened its official shop on the US e-commerce website Amazon, according to the club on 10/12/2018. "The brand shop on Amazon is initially only available in Germany," said the club.

"To start with, the range comprises around 100 products and includes both merchandise from the regular range and articles produced exclusively for distribution on Amazon. The highlight of the product range is a special back-of-shirt flock print with the signatures of selected players or the signatures of the entire team for the current season (2018-19)," added Bayern Munich.

"The Amazon marketplace is very important for eCommerce in Germany. Online marketplaces play an important role in our merchandising strategy," said Jörg Wacker, board member responsible for internationalisation and strategy at FC Bayern Munich.

Amazon is Bayern Munich's third digital sales channel, after its official online store and its store on the Chinese platform Tmall Global (launched in May 2015).
