The dual stadium and shirt sponsorship between Arsenal and Emirates is best known in the UK

The partnership between Arsenal and Emirates Airline, the airline company based in Dubai, is the most recognisable partnership among sport fans in the United Kingdom— 62% of respondents knew the shirt sponsor of the London club, according to a Repucom study published on the 09/12/2013. The South Korean conglomerate Samsung, Chelsea's shirt sponsor, is known by 49% of respondents, and Manchester City's shirt sponsor Etihad, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is known by 43% of respondents.

Regarding the naming rights, 88% of people who attend sporting events in the UK are aware that Emirates has the naming rights to Arsenal's stadium. "Emirates is apparently reaping benefits from their dual stadium and shirt sponsorship," said Charlie Dundas, the CEO of Repucom in the UK and in Ireland, on 09/12/2013. "Manchester City and Etihad have followed Arsenal's model and are now witnessing encouraging progress in terms of visibility in the UK."
