Girona FC: record turnover of €48.8m (+388%) and net profit of €6.7m in 2017-18

Girona FC (LaLiga Santander) posted a turnover (excluding gains from player transfers) of €48.8m for the fiscal year 2017-18, according to the club at the end of its shareholders meeting on 13/12/2018.

This is the highest turnover in the history of the Catalan club, up 388% compared to the fiscal year 2016-17 (€10m), during which the club played in LaLiga 1|2|3. The shareholders' meeting also validated a budget of €53.6m for 2018-19.

For its first season in the Spanish first division, Girona FC also posted a net profit of €6.7m, versus a loss of €5.6m at the end of the 2016-17 season. The club has not yet revealed (as of 18/12/2018), the sectional breakdown of its 2017-18 revenue.
