Olympique de Marseille: a collaboration with Waze to facilitate access to the Orange Velodrome

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Conforama) has announced a collaboration with Waze, a GPS navigation and traffic information mobile application, with the aim of making "driving more enjoyable and safe for all OM fans travelling to the Orange Velodrome (65,297 capacity) on matchdays," said the French club on 18/12/2018. The club will become a partner of Waze's "Global Event Partner" (GEP) programme.

"Olympique de Marseille joins the community of more than 300 event organisers around the world to offer their participants smoother journeys to, from and around their match venues.
Designed as a data exchange, Waze's Global Event Partner (GEP) programme provides its partners with real-time, anonymised data from its community of 12 million male and female drivers. The GEP thus allows partners to access Waze's tools to report their events and better prepare vehicle flows and parking needs during matches," added the club.
