Premier League: record turnover of £139.4m (€157.3m) for Brighton & Hove Albion FC in 2017-18

Brighton & Hove Albion FC (Premier League) posted a record turnover of £139.4m (€157.3m on 30/06/2018) in the fiscal year 2018 (from 01/07/2017 to 30/06/2018), almost five times higher than in 2017 (£29.2m/€33.2m, when the club was in the Sky Bet Championship), announced the club on 11/12/2018.

For its very first season in the Premier League, Brighton & Hove Albion FC posted a net profit of £11.3m (€12.8m) in 2017-18, compared to a loss of £38.9m (-€44.2m) the previous season. "The increase in turnover also saw a corresponding increase in operating expenses from £59.3m (€67.4m) to £130m (€146.7m) -- due to Albion's promotion to the top flight," added the East Sussex club.
