Villarreal CF: record turnover of €144.5m (+29%) and net profit of €2.9m in 2017-18

Villarreal CF (LaLiga Santander) have posted a turnover of €144.5m for the 2018 fiscal year (from 01/07/2017 to 30/06/2018), up 29% compared to 2017 (€117m), according to the club after a general assembly of its shareholders on 17/12/2018.

This turnover is the highest in the history of the Spanish club, which has not disclosed the sectional breakdown of its 2017-18 revenue. Villarreal CF's net profit in 2017-18 was €2.9m, while the club posted a loss of €2.4m in 2016-17.

The club's 2018-19 provisional budget, approved by the shareholders, is €136.8m (-5%), with expenses also estimated at €136.8m and therefore in balance.
