Bundesliga: FSV Mainz 05 the last club to sign a sleeve sponsor with QQ288 (sports betting)

QQ288, an online casino and betting platform from the Philippine group PAGCOR, has become an official partner and shirt sleeve sponsor of FSV Mainz 05 (Bundesliga) until the end of 2019-20, 18/12/2018. This agreement was negotiated by Infront, the exclusive marketing agency of Mainz 05 (for the 2015-2025 cycle), and Zapport Services, the media agency of QQ288.

QQ288 enjoys the status of "official sports betting partner" as well as that of the shirt sleeve sponsor, the third level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the German club. The agreement also includes the possibility of conducting operations via the Mainz 05 football school in Asia. "The QQ288 platform targets the Asian market with its online betting services, particularly in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, China and Vietnam, while in Germany, QQ288 offers are not available. This is Mainz 05's first partnership in Asia with exclusivity outside of Germany," said the club.
