Brazil: Adidas to partner with Sport Recife until 2018

German sportswear company Adidas has begun a partnership with Sport Recife (Brazilian Serie A) the club has announced, on the 13/01/2014. Recife, who were promoted to the first division championship at the end of 2013, have agreed a four-year contract which will run until the end of the 2018 season.

Adidas replaces the Italian company Lotto who had been supplying kits for Recife since 2008. The club is also expected to announce the signing of a contract with a new shirt sponsor before the end of January 2014.

"This partnership is good for everyone. We know the strength of this club on the national stage. We have signed a four-year contract, but I do not doubt the possibility of extending it for at least a decade," declared Ricardo Sdei, marketing manager of Adidas Brazil.
