Bundesliga: VfB Stuttgart organises a "Hackathon" (innovation competition) on 27 and 28/02/2019

VfB Stuttgart (Bundesliga) is organising its first "Sports Hackathon", an innovation competition to be held on 27 and 28/02/2019, according to the club on 18/12/2018.

"Creative minds and innovators are invited to contribute their ideas and tread new paths in line with the start-up philosophy. The objective is to provide food for thought, to create further developments and to find innovative solutions that will further VfB's course for the future in the form of new business models," added VfB Stuttgart.

"The participants will face ten Innovation Challenges (see below), accompanied by high-ranking experts from the industry as well as VfB experts and guest speakers. The best teams will then pitch their ideas on 05/03/2019 in the Würth Soccer Lounge (at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, 60,449 capacity) in front of interested VfB partners and representatives from the start-up community," said the club.
