Serie A TIM: adidas extends as equipment supplier of Juventus FC (2019-2027) for €51m/year (€408m)

The German brand adidas has extended as an equipment supplier and technical partner of Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) and all of its teams, for eight seasons, from 2019-20 until 2026-27, according to the Turin club, on 21/12/2018.

As part of the partnership, adidas will pay Juventus a minimum of €408m over the eight year contract, or €51m annually. "The consideration does not include additional royalty payments upon exceeding a threshold of sales and sports performance bonuses," said the Italian club. The new agreement with adidas will begin in 2019-20, two seasons before the end of the current contract, initially planned for the 2015-2021 cycle, on 24/10/2013. As part of the current agreement, adidas pays €23.25m per season (excluding bonuses) to Juventus (€31.5m with additional royalties).
