2017-18 LaLiga Santander: €1.326bn in TV rights distributed to the 20 clubs (€154m for Barça at top)

€1.326bn of revenue from audiovisual rights (domestic and international) was distributed to the 20 2017-18 LaLiga Santander clubs. This amount is up 6.3% compared to the 2016-17 season.

As in 2016-17, FC Barcelona was the club that received the largest amount (€154m gross, €143.2m net, see note below), ahead of Real Madrid CF (€148m gross ) and Atlético de Madrid (€110.6m gross). Girona FC and CD Léganés are the two clubs that received the least with €43.3m gross each.

The income distribution gap ratio between the club which received the most revenue and the one which received the least is therefore 3.55 for the 2017-18 season, compared to 3.7 in 2016-17, 5 in 2015-16, and 9 in 2014-15.

• A gross amount of €180.6m was paid to LaLiga 1|2|3 Spanish second division (22 clubs); naming rights contract to the bank Santander (2016-2019) clubs (Spanish second division) for the 2017-18 season.
