DAZN: Ben King (Apple Services) named "SVP global distribution and business development"

Ben King, the international sales manager (non-US) of Apple Services (Apple Store, Apple Music, iTunes), has been appointed senior vice-president of global distribution and business development for British-founded OTT platform DAZN, on 03/01/2019. He will take office in February 2019.

Ben King will report to John Gleasure, the director of business development, with the mission of "supporting DAZN's global expansion by contributing to the growth strategy and commercial distribution partnerships with leading platforms, telecom operators and brands," stated DAZN, which aims to be present in 20 countries by 2020 (see below).

"DAZN has spotted an opportunity to develop a global sport streaming service before anyone else and is executing aggressively to extend its lead.
