Rugby: Top 14 (France) 13,445 spectators on average per match for the first half of 2018-19 (+6%)

"At the end of the first half of the season, the Top 14 attendance is 13,445 spectators on average per match, which is +6% over the 2017-18 season (an average of 12,641 spectators per match)," stated the French NRL on 03/01/2019. "This is the best average in the history of the first half of the Top 14."

"The affluence of the Boxing Day Matches (12^th and 13^th matchdays) in the Top 14 drew an average of 15,114 spectators per match, which is +15% compared to the first 11 matchdays of the championship (13,118 spectators on average per match). The 13^th day (29 and 30/12/2018), recorded the best mark of the 2018-19 season, a day with 121,531 spectators in total (average of 17,362 spectators per game)," added the NRL.

• Stade Toulousain Rugby - RC Toulonnais (39-0), counting for Matchday 13 of the Top 14, recorded the best attendance thus far of the 2018-19 season with 32,794 spectators at  Toulouse Stadium (33,150 capacity), the 30/12/2018. The Toulouse club announced, via its Twitter account, a sold-out stadium with 32,700 tickets sold on 27/12/2018.
