Brazil 2014: workshop for the 32 qualified teams on the 19 and 20/02/2014 in Florianopolis

FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) is organising a seminar for representatives of the 32 teams qualified for the 2014 World Cup on the 19 and 20/02/2014 in Florianopolis (BRA).

On this occasion, delegations will be informed of the most important issues concerning the organisation of the final phase, from the 12/06 to the 13/07/2014: logistics, transportation on match venues and training.

Besides the coach (technical issues), each federation is required to send specialists in the following areas: medical, media, ticketing / hospitality, accommodation, transport and marketing.

• Florianopolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina, is a popular tourist destination in southern Brazil.
• Following the workshop of the 32 teams, Florianopolis will also host a meeting of the Board of the LOC (Local Organising Committee of the World Cup), on the 21/02/2014.
• As in 2010 before the World Cup in South Africa, a seminar will be devoted to the various security issues related to competition.
