2.Bundesliga: energy provider Stadtwerke to extend partnership with Fortuna Düsseldorf until 2018

Energy provider Stadtwerke has extended its partnership with Fortuna Düsseldorf (2.Bundesliga), the club announced on the 13/01/2014. Both parties, bound since 2004, are now linked until the end of the 2017-18 season.

Under the agreement, the company remains title sponsor of the Stadtwerke Düsseldorf Winter Cup tournament which takes place each year at the Spirit Arena (54,000 seats) during the winter break. The energy supplier will also be exposed on the screens of the stadium during Fortuna matches.

"Stadtwerke Düsseldorf is a long term partner of Fortuna and a very special collaborator. We are very pleased to continue to work together until 2018," said Peter Frymuth, chairman of the club.
