Premier League: 18/20 clubs have a sleeve sponsor in 2018-19 (average contract: £3.48m/season)

18 of the 20 Premier League clubs have a sleeve sponsor as of 07/01/2019, one more than in 2017-18. The English professional football league has authorised its clubs to market sleeve space on their shirts since the 2017-18 season, after a decision on 10/11/2016.

On average, each of the 18 clubs receive £3.48m (about €3.9m) per season through sleeve sponsorship agreements. Excluding the extreme top and bottom values (including Manchester United FC, which receives the highest value contract), the average falls by 10% to £3.13m (€3.5m) per season. The median value (both above and below) is £0.5m (€0.56m) per season.

Of the 18 existing partnerships, six are with British companies (30% of the total) and five with Asian companies (25%).

As of 07/01/2019, two Premier League clubs have not yet concluded a partnership with a sleeve sponsor: Tottenham Hotspur FC and Newcastle United FC.
