Ligue 1 Conforama: LOSC Lille notified of obligation to respect its budget by French DNCG control

"LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Conforama) has been notified (by the DNCG, French football financial control) of the obligation to respect the budget commitments the club has submitted with regard to payroll and transfer allowances. With this budget, the club pursues its strategic and economic strategy as planned. LOSC is working now in the winter transfer window with the unchanged goal of maintaining the best competitiveness of the squad while building the best financial balance for the club," stated the Lille (FRA) club on 08/01/2019.

"Following the hearing held on 10/12/2018, the DNCG, in the framework of the re-examination of the situation of LOSC Lille for the 2018-2019 sporting season, has made the following decisions: supervision of the payroll (limit of around €30m, according to L'Equipe on 09/01/2018) and supervision of player transfers (in the January 2019 window)," indicated the French football financial control on 08/01/2019.
