Legea, an Italian sports equipment manufacturer, has become an official supplier of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and will equip referees of the Italian Referees' Association (AIA) for three seasons (2019-2022) on 10/01/2019. Legea succeeds fellow Italian sports equipment manufacturer Diadora, equipment supplier of the AIA for 26 years and until the end of the 2018-19 season.

Legea has the status of "technical sponsor", the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Federation. Puma, a German equipment manufacturer, is the other "technical sponsor" of the FIGC and has equipped the Italian national teams since 2003.

"Legea will take care of the referees' matchwear, training kits and sports footwear with an innovative collection dedicated to the Italian Referees' Association," explained the FIGC.
