Premier League: Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium debut will not take place before March 2019

"We can confirm that our Premier League matches against Watford FC (Matchday 24 of the 2018-19 Premier League season, on 30/01/2019), Newcastle United FC (Matchday 25, 02/02/2019) and Leicester City FC (Matchday 26, 10/02/2019) - and our Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund  (Round of 16 first leg, 13/02/2019) - will take place at Wembley Stadium (90,000 capacity)," announced Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) on 09/01/2018.

"We have now received a post-Christmas/New Year update from the contractors involved in the critical safety systems at our new stadium. The past month has seen remedial works take place, software issues resolved and corrected safety equipment installations increase. Testing has also continued.
