Brazil 2014: Dilma Rousseff, president of Brazil, to visit FIFA on the 23/01/2014

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff will visit FIFA's (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) headquarters in Zurich (SUI), on the 23/01/2014, announced the international body, on the 17/01/2014. The Brazilian sports minister Aldo Rebelo will accompany Dilma Rousseff, who travels to Switzerland to participate in the 44th edition of the World Economic Forum, held from the 22 to the 25/01/2014.

"We agreed together that we shall not meet very often, We shall only meet when it is necessary,” had said the President of FIFA at the end of a meeting with the Brazilian President, on the 14/06/2013 in Rio de Janeiro (BRA), on the eve of the opening match of the Confederations Cup in Brazil.

This visit to Zurich should allow Dilma Rousseff and Blatter to "make peace", according to Brazilian media.

"Brazil has just found out what it means (to organise a World Cup), and has started work much too late. No country has been so far behind in preparations since I have been at FIFA," stated Joseph Blatter, on the 04/01/2014.
