FIFA: African tour for Gianni Infantino before the Marrakech Executive Summit (15-17/01/2019)

Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Senegal, Mauritania, Togo, Benin and Burkina Faso were the eight African countries visited by FIFA president Gianni Infantino (ITA-SUI), before taking part in the FIFA Executive Summit of the FIFA programme in Marrakech (MAR), from 15 to 17/01/2019.

Accompanied by Fatma Samoura (SEN), the FIFA secretary general, and members of the international federation's administration, Gianni Infantino presented items about the development activities of FIFA, including the FIFA Forward programme, to the heads of state and leaders met at each stage.

In Senegal, he visited the FIFA Regional Development Office in Dakar (which implements and coordinates all of FIFA's development activities in 24 countries in Central and West Africa). He also attended the CAF annual awards ceremony on 08/01/2019.
