Ligue 1: Citroën to strengthen partnership with Paris Saint-Germain until 2017

French car manufacturer Citroën have extended their partnership with Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) until 2017, the club announced on the 17/01/2014. Paris SG and Citroën have been bound since 2011.

Citroën will be present on the LED screens during matches played at the Parc des Princes and will continue their "Citroën Golden Bar" activation at each half-time. This game, which consists in trying to reach the crossbar with a free kick, allows fans to win a car in colours of Paris Saint-Germain. Citroën will also be displayed on new advertising hoardings on the parking lot.

The partnership is extended to the women's team as well as the men's handball team until 2017. "This new signature with Citroën is a demonstration of the confidence in our project and the strength of the Paris Saint-Germain brand. We are delighted to continue working with a leading French brand that has already accompanied us for the last three years," said Jean-Claude Blanc, deputy CEO of the club.
