eSports: Kia (automobiles, KOR) official sponsor of the League of Legends European Championship

The South Korean car manufacturer Kia Motors has become the "official automotive sponsor" of the inaugural edition of the League of Legends European Championship, which begins on 18/01/2019 in Berlin (GER), according to Riot Games, organisers of the competition, on 11/01/2019.

"Kia will also be the presenting sponsor of the 'Player of the Game' segment, where our team of casters and analysts break down the most exciting clutch plays of the day. You might have seen Trevor 'Quickshot' Henry (commentator) driving around Berlin in a swanky KIA car to assemble the casting team, you'll now also see the Kia fleet making an appearance at our roadshows and offline events, where we’ll be cooking up special onsite activations for our fans," said Riot Games.

• Dell Alienware, a manufacturer of computer hardware for video games, became the "official PC and display partner" of the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) in North America, the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), four other annual events, and the World Championships, as part of a several year agreement on 08/01/2019.
