USA: Volkswagen (automobiles) "presenting partner" of the Federation for 4 years (2019-2022)

Volkswagen America, the American subsidiary of the German car manufacturer, has become the "presenting partner" of the US Soccer Federation (USSF) for four years (2019-2022), announced the USSF on 14/01/2019. This is a top-level partnership in the sponsorship hierarchy of the federation.

"As part of the historic partnership, Volkswagen will have branding on training tops for all U.S. Soccer National Teams, including the Men’s and Women’s National Teams, all Youth National Teams and the Para 7-a-side, Beach and Futsal National Teams, and the U.S. Soccer Development Academy," detailed the USSF.

In addition to having a presence on the signage at the training centers and stadiums used for national team games, Volkswagen also becomes the title sponsor of the "Tournament of Nations", an international tournament invitational for women's national teams, organized by the USSF in several US cities since 2017 (next edition in 2021), in years of absence of a Women's World Cup or Summer Olympics.
