Premier League: a "proposed" capacity of 52,000 for Everton FC's future stadium

Everton Football Club (Premier League) is proposing a capacity of 52,000 for its new stadium, with the potential for this to rise to 62,000 in the future," announced the Merseyside club on 20/12/2018.

Everton Stadium Development Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Everton FC in charge of the new stadium project, and Peel Land and Property Limited a development project company and company owning the land on which the new stadium will be erected, in the geographical area of Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool (ENG), have signed an agreement that makes the club the tenant of the plot of land for 200 years, on 23/11/2017. The club organised a first public consultation, offering participants the opportunity to give their opinion on the project, from 15/11/2018 to 03/12/2018. A new public consultation will be organised in summer 2019, with proposals for different detailed plans for the new stadium.
