eSports: R+V Versicherung (insurance), main shirt sponsor of Schalke 04 Esports until 2022

The German insurance company R+V Versicherung has extended its partnership with FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga) and has become a partner of the club's eSports team "for four seasons until 31/12/2022", according to the club on 16/01/2019.

R+V Versicherung becomes main shirt sponsor of FC Schalke 04 Esports. The insurance company also obtains the naming rights for the gaming house of the team which will be known as the "R+V Gaming House Berlin". "In addition, joint actions and engagements are also planned," said the club. 

R+V Versicherung extended as a premium partner (second level) of FC Schalke 04 for four seasons (2019-2023) on 30/07/2018. R+V Versicherung has been a partner of FC Schalke 04 since 2015-16, initially until 2018-19. The annual value of the agreement is estimated at €2m. The brand benefits from visibility on LED signage at the Veltins Arena (62,000 capacity) as well as on the various communication platforms of the club. The group also sponsors the "Knappen-Fußballschule", Schalke 04 training camps for children and teenagers throughout Germany.
