Bundesliga: PreZero (waste) replaces Wirsol as naming rights holder of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's stadium

PreZero, a waste management company of the Schwarz Group, has obtained the naming rights for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's (Bundesliga) stadium, the Rhein-Neckar-Arena (30,150 capacity), based in Sinsheim (GER), said the club on 16/01/2019. The agreement should cover five seasons (2019-2023) with an optional five additional seasons, according to German media reports.

The Wirsol Rhein-Neckar Arena thus becomes the PreZero Arena. PreZero replaces Wirsol, a German company specialised in solar energy and stadium naming partner of the club since 2011. The Wirsol contract was estimated at €1.2m per year.

Schwarz Group has been a partner of TSG Hoffenheim, via its supermarket chain Lidl, since 2016-17. Saskia, the group's mineral water brand, is a premium partner of the club (fifth level) and the Solevita fruit brand has replaced Vitafit as a "service partner" (seventh level).
