FC Barcelona: creation of a mausoleum of 30,000 urns at Camp Nou for fans of the club

FC Barcelona (Liga) have presented their mausoleum project, dedicated to fans of the Catalan club, in partnership with specialised company GIEM Sports, on the 17/01/2014. The space, called "Memorial Space FC Barcelona" will be installed under the Camp Nou, the stadium of the club, and will receive 30,000 urns. The project was presented at the opening of a first mausoleum in the cemetery of Les Corts, with a capacity of 500 urns in the neighborhood of Camp Nou.

The funeral will be accessible to "all people who have an emotional connection with Barcelona," said the club. Prices will range from € 3,000 to € 6,000 per unit for periods of burial between 50 and 99 years.

Memorial Space FC Barcelona aims to be a link with the club forever, a tribute to those who wish to be bound forever to the club," said Santi Bach, the chief executive officer of Giem Sports. The opening of this space will be effective after the renovation of the Camp Nou, or after the construction of a new stadium for FC Barcelona.
