FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) is the European football club that has generated the most interaction on social networks during the year 2018, announced the Spanish club on 15/01/2019.

With 1.18 billion total interactions, the Catalan club was ahead of Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, 895 million) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, 786 million), according to figures provided by Crowdtangle, a company specializing in the measurement of data on social networks. The European Top 5 is completed by Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) and Liverpool FC (Premier League).

FC Barcelona recorded 989 million interactions on Instagram, 83% of the their total recorded in 2018, the rest being split between Facebook (130 million) and Twitter (70 million).
