Infront: Ingolfur Hannesson (ISL) appointed as "exclusive strategic advisor" on 16/01/2019

Ingolfur Hannesson (ISL), has been appointed as the "exclusive strategic advisor" by the Swiss media rights and sports marketing agency Infront, on 16/01/2019. According to the agency Hannesson will be "focused primarily on future acquisitions and the exploitation of winter sport media rights."

Ingolfur Hannesson previously served as the head of TV and Radio Sports at the Icelandic television channel RUV. Before taking up his new role with Infront, Hannesson was responsible for winter and indoor sports media rights at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) from 2002 until 2018.

"In the rapidly evolving world of sports and electronic media, federations and other rights holders need a reliable partner who can deliver solid financial offers along with various services covering the whole value chain.
