Connectivity: Extreme Networks to become Wi-Fi analytics provider of NFL stadiums

Extreme Networks, American provider of high performance network and telecommunication solutions, has become the official Wi-Fi analytics provider of NFL stadiums (National Football League, the American league of US football), announced the company on the 15/01/2014.

The California-based company will provide advice and solutions to all the stadiums of the league in order to improve the game-day experience, and to help manage and solve the challenges associated with connectivity in stadiums. Enterasys, subsidiary of Extreme Networks, has already established "Wi-Fi coaches" to help fans connect to stadium networks during New England Patriots (Boston) and Philadelphia Eagles games.

Extreme Network Wi-Fi technology has already been deployed at Ford Field in Detroit (65,000 seats), MetLife Stadium in New York (82,500 seats), Gillette Stadium in Boston (68,700 seats) and Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia (67,500 seats) through its subsidiary Enterasys.
