Bundesliga: DHL (logistics) succeeds Allyouneed Fresh as sleeve sponsor of Schalke 04 from 2019

Deutsche Post DHL Group, a German express delivery and logistics group, has become the shirt sleeve sponsor of FC Schalke 04 for Bundesliga matches from 2019 until the end of the 2020-21 season, according to the club on 17/01/2019. DHL succeeds Allyouneed Fresh, a German online supermarket specialised in foodstuffs, sleeve sponsor of the German club for the 2017-2021 cycle since 17/05/2017.

At the launch of the partnership between Allyouneed Fresh and Schalke 04, the brand was a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group (as of 17/05/2017). Since then, the German group has restructured its services and sold Allyouneed Fresh to German tyre retailer Delticom on 27/09/2018. Thus, DHL has taken over the partnership with Schalke 04 under the same conditions as the contract signed by Allyouneed Fresh, for the same period (until 2020-21) and for a financial amount estimated at between €5-€5.5m per season, according to German specialised media on 17/05/2017.
