Lionel Messi: the Argentine international becomes an ambassador of the US watchmaker Jacob & Co

Argentine international football player Lionel Messi has become an ambassador of Jacob & Co, a luxury jeweler and watchmaker, on 11/01/2019. The duration of the agreement is estimated at three years according to US media.

To mark the occasion, Jacob & Co has launched the "Epic X Chrono", a watch produced in 180 units and sold at $28,000 (€24,300 euros on 21/01/2019) each.

Jacob & Co replaces the Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet, of which the FC Barcelona player (LaLiga Santander) has been an ambassador of since 2010. Lionel Messi joins Cristiano Ronaldo (POR, since 2013) and Luis Figo (POR) as an ambassador of the American brand.
