UEFA: Paris Saint-Germain no.1 in Europe in terms of ticketing revenue per fan per game in 2016-17

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) was the European club that generated the highest ticketing revenue per spectator per game, with an average of €86.90 during the 2016-17 season, according to UEFA which published the "tenth edition of its annual club licensing benchmarking report on European club football" entitled "The European Club Footballing Landscape," on 18/01/2019. 700 clubs were studied by the European confederation in the report.

In order to determine the average expenditure incurred by a spectator to attend a match at the stadium, UEFA took into account the number of matches played at home during the season, their attendance and all ticketing revenues generated including: annual subscriptions, match ticketing, membership fees (for clubs whose ticketing offers are part of this type of loyalty programme) and hospitality.
