Handball: Unibet (sports betting) official sponsor of the Men's IHF World Championship 2019

Unibet, brand of the Maltese sports betting and online gambling operator Kindred Group, has become an official sponsor of the Men's IHF World Championship 2019 held from 10/01 to 27/01/2019 in Germany and Denmark by the International Handball Federation (IHF), according to Lagardère Sports Germany, the marketing agency of the IHF which negotiated the agreement, on 15/01/2019.

Unibet has the status of "sponsor of the event", the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the event. "The agreement gives Unibet the right to display its logo during the event and use the event in its communications," said Lagardère Sports.

Unibet has previously been a partner of IHF women's handball competitions, namely the World Championship 2017 in Germany as well as the European Championships 2014 (in Hungary and Croatia) and 2018 (in France).
