Serie A TIM: attendance for Matchday 20 of 2018-19 (19,828 spectators on average per game)

Matchday 20 of the 2018-19 Serie A TIM season drew an average of 19,828 spectators per game, from 19 to 21/01/2019. The average fill rate was 49%.

The Italian league posted its worst performance in terms of attendance since the beginning of the season, mainly due to the lack of spectators at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan (ITA) for FC Internazionale Milano - US Sassuolo Calcio (0-0). The match was initially scheduled to be played behind closed doors, but was played in front of 11,000 children who were invited by the Milan club, who previously had an average attendance of 62,281 spectators per home game.

AS Roma - Torino FC (3-2), on Saturday 19/01/2019 (kick-off at 15:00 CET), was the game that posted the best attendance with 32,978 spectators at the Stadio Olimpico (68,530 capacity, a fill rate of 48%). Two games on Matchday 20 drew more than 30,000 spectators and seven others less than 20,000.

The average attendance of the Italian league was 24,905 spectators per game after 20 matchdays, for an average fill rate of 65%.
