Deloitte Football Money League 2019: Real Madrid CF regains first place for its turnover in 2017-18

With a record turnover of €750.9m in 2017-18, Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is first place in the Football Money League, of which the 2019 edition was published by the UK audit and consultancy firm Deloitte, on 24/01/2019.

The Madrid club regained the lead in a ranking they had dominated continuously from 2006 to 2015, before Manchester United FC (Premier League) overtook them in 2015-16 and 2016-17. With a turnover of €666m, the English club is ranked third among the 20 football clubs that generate the most revenue in 2017-18, behind FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, €690.4m).

Nine Premier League clubs feature in the Top 20, along with four Italian clubs, three Spanish clubs and three German clubs. Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama), the only French club in the Top 20 is in sixth place with €541.7m.
