Sponsorship: "The image survey clause will not be present in FFF's future contracts" (Noël Le Graët)

The clause in FFF's contracts, that allowed sponsors to change their contributions based on image surveys conducted by the Kantar Sport agency, "will not be present in future FFF's contracts," said Noël Le Graët, the president of the FFF (French Football Federation), to NTF on 21/01/2014.

"We are not in a hurry to communicate the signing of new partners. It makes sense that we respect the current contracts that will end on 15 or 30/07/2014. There is no anxiety about interest in the French national team," said Le Graët.

"Despite the controversy, it is still easier to attract sponsors in football than in other sports - at both the national and local level. [...] What we experienced in 2010 was much more complicated than what we have experienced in recent months. I think 80% of our contracts will be renewed," said Le Graët. "No new partner can be a sponsor of Team France during the 2014 World Cup."
