AS Roma (Serie A TIM) have announced the appointment of Guido Fienga as their new chief executive officer, on 25/01/2019. "Fienga takes up his new role with immediate effect and will report directly to the club’s president Jim Pallotta and Roma's board of directors," said the Italian club.

Guido Fienga, former founder and CEO of the financial services company Sistemia SpA, has been at the Rome club since 2013 where he took up the position of strategy and media director. Fienga was then promoted to chief operating officer in 2018. As well as the appointment of Fienga as CEO, Mauro Baldissoni has been promoted from general manager of AS Roma to exectuvie vice-president of the Italian club.

"Guido will lead the club through the next stage of our strategic growth and development. He will be responsible for managing both the day-to-day operations and long-term vision of the club in our goal to become both successful - and sustainable - on and off the pitch," said Jim Pallotta, president of AS Roma.
